Oppo BDP-103 & 103D
Oppo BDP-103 and BDP-103D are high-end Blu-ray players manufactured by Chinese company, Oppo Inc, who are known for their high quality Blu-ray players.
Both models are very identacle but with a few differences, the BDP-103 uses the Marvell QDEO Kyoto-G2H video chip, while the BDP-103D uses the Silicon Image VRS ClearView video processor with Darbee Visual Presence (D stands for Darbee Edtion).
Inside the BDP-103 contains the SoC, DAC, and power supply. |
Both models use the MediaTek MT8580 System-on-Chip with an 32-bit ARM® Cortex®-A9 single-core CPU @800 MHz.
There are four Samsung K4B1G1646G DRAM integrated chips for system and application memory. Each is 128 Megabytes for a total of 512 Megabytes. It is unknown of which chip is specifically used for.
It also contains the Toshiba TC58NVG3S0FT Flash memory for storing the operating system and application data with a compacity of 1 GB.
It uses a custom version of the Linux operating system using kernel version 2.6.27. |
For digital-to-analog audio processing, the player contains the Cirrus Logic CS4382 DAC.
In it's power supply, it uses a 450 volt capacitor used for input filtering made by Chinese company, Su’scon.
